It was one of the most popular and profitable franchises of the 2000s, with the Ocean’s Eleven heist saga grossing over a billion dollars in just three episodes. The fourth installment is currently in production and director David Leitch, author of the first John Wick, is expected to be behind the camera.

In 2018, Warner Bros. Studio. featured a spin-off, Ocean’s Eight, with an all-female cast. In this film, Sandra Bullock played Debbie Ocean, the sister of George Clooney’s character – who is not seen on screen.
For several years, the same studio has been trying to reboot the franchise with a prequel set in 60s Europe with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The project is still under development.
Ocean’s Fourteen will be the first film in the saga starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt that will not be directed by Steven Soderbergh, who wrote the first three installments.
