Carol Castro will play another policewoman in her career. After the character with psychological problems in Star +’s “Insânia”, she will play a law enforcement officer in the second season of “Natureza Morta”, from the Cine Brasil channel.
In production, the actress will be an investigator who will have different action and combat sequences.
The first season, which can be streamed on the Looke platform, revolved around a serial killer played by Erom Cordeiro (“Pantanal”). His character was a famous photographer who lured and killed girls in his studio, turning their corpses into art installations.
The original cast also included Nanda Costa (“Monster Hunter”), Bruno Bellarmino (“The Deal”), Camilla Lecciolli (“Passport to Freedom”) and Soren Hellerup (“Iron Island”).
With a screenplay by Mariana Pamplona and directed by Flávio Frederico (both of “Boca”), the second season will continue the hunt for the killer, while another case arises that also involves the deaths of women in a very different context. Now the crimes happen in the universe of children’s contests, in the style of “Little Miss Sunshine”.
The recording of the six new episodes has already finished, but there is no preview date yet.
