Minions 2: Rise of Gru brought about 500,000 people to theaters
Minions 2: Origin of Gruovercame Thor: Love and Thunder at the Brazilian box office with R$ 11 million between Thursday, the 21st, and Sunday, the 24th, according to Cinema Score, a movie audience research company.
The Marvel movie dropped to second place with R$10.9 million at the box office. In third place is Elviswith R$4.18 million in the same period followed by black phone R$4.1 million, and Top Gun: Maverickwith R$1.22 million.
according to G1, the animation of minions had an audience of 561 thousand people, while Thor: Love and Thunder was seen by 509 thousand people.

Set in the 1970s, the story will show how Gru managed to become the great master of evil after crossing the path of the minions and form an unusual family. When the infamous supergroup of supervillainsVicious 6, ousts its leader – the legendary martial arts fighter wild knuckles (Oscar winner Alan Arkin) – his most devoted fan, Gru, decides to do an interview to fill the vacancy (even though he is only 12 years old).
