Following Easy Girl with Zahia Dehar and Planetarium with Natalie Portman and Lily-Rose Depp, Rebecca Zlotowski highlights Virgin Air with her 5th feature, the sun-and-moving romance Children of Others: Trailer.
Virginie Efira, who recently starred in Serge Bozon’s Don Juan, is expected to star in two French feature films this fall: Alice Winokur’s Revoir Paris and Rebecca Zlotowski’s Les Enfants des autres.
The latter, whose selection we recently learned at the Venice Film Festival, is releasing its trailer. The plot is as follows: Rachel is 40 years old, she has no children. Loves his life: high school students, friends, ex, guitar lessons. Falling in love with Ali, he becomes involved with Leila, his 4-year-old daughter. He accommodates her, cares for her and loves her as his own. But loving someone else’s children is a risk worth taking…
Rounding out the cast is Roshdi Zem, a young Cali Ferreira-Goncalves in her first film role, and Chiara Mastroianni. You can recognize the song in the trailer Free message By Françoise Hardy, written by Michel Berger.
Other People’s Children is written and directed by Rebecca Zlotowski. This is the 5th feature film from the director, who also recently featured in the series Les Sauvages for Canal+. Children of Others is his new film, 3 years after Simple Girl with Zahia Dehar, which was selected in the 2019 Directors’ Fortnight. It will be released on September 21.
