Luiz Yano was hired by Karapat Lviv in December 2024 and arrived in the European country
The 19 -year -old striker Luiz Yano was officially announced by Ukraine Karapat Lviv. The purchase of the athlete was made by Palmeiras, still in December 2024.
Luiz arrived in Alviverde in 2018 and made the whole base for the club. Therefore, last year, playing for the Under 20 team, scored four goals and gave seven assists in 31 games. The main most recent titles for Verdon were the Brazilian U17 championship (2023), the U17 Brazilian Cup (2023) and the Brazilian U-20 championship (2024).
So, just over two weeks in the old continent, the young athlete already has his first impressions on the club and the country.
“Thank God, everyone in the club welcomed me very well. My parents and I had all the attention and care of the club. Country, food, culture and language, all very new and too different. However, I will do everything for be 100% adapted as soon as possible to act in the first team.
“A very well trained and very qualified team. I hope to be able to help the best on the field to do the best I know.”

Initially hired for the Under 20 team, with the prospect of going to the professional at the beginning of the next season, Luiz also spoke of the realization of the dream of playing in the old continent.
“It is certainly a big step in my career. Being in Europe is already a great result for me and my family. Now it has evolved more and more to achieve my goals,” he said.
