The Star + platform has released the trailer for “It Wasn’t My Fault”, a Brazilian series with an anthological format that portrays domestic violence and femicide.
Written by Juliana Rosenthal (“O Amor no Divã”) and Michelle Ferreira (“Amor sem Medida”), the episodes tell stories allegedly inspired by real events, revolving around fascinating principles that turn out to be evil orcs.
The cast includes Fernanda Nobre (“Deus Salve o Rei”), Malu Mader (“Turma da Mônica – Lições”), Dalton Vigh (“A Division”), Armando Babaioff (“Bom Sucesso”), Aline Dias (“Salve- se Quem Puder “), Karol Lanes (” Minha Mãe é uma Peça “), Ana Paula Secco (” Tropa de Elite “), Gabrielle Joie (” Toda Forma de Amor “), Virgínia Rosa (” Éramos Seis “), Luana Xavier (“The Invisible Life”), Sandra Corveloni (“The Other Side of Paradise”), Suzy Lopes (“Fim de Festa”), Simone Iliescu (“East West”), Cyria Coentro (“Velho Chico”) and Elisa Lucinda (“September Mornings”).
The list of supporting actors is also excellent, with Vinícius de Oliveira (“Segunda Chamada”), Daniel Blanco (“Totmente Demais”), Dandara Mariano (“A Força do Querer”), César Mello (“Good morning, Veronica”), Enrico Cardoso (“School of geniuses”), João Baldasserini (“Haja Coração”), Felipe Kannenberg (“Less Than Nothing”), Jennifer Nascimento (“Malhação: Sonhos”), Marat Descartes (“Colônia”), Marcello Airoldi (” A Vida da Gente “), Robson Nunes (” Tim Maia “), Rômulo Braga (” Sangue Azul “) and the sisters Bianca Comparato (” 3%) “and Lorena Comparato (” Impuros “).
This is because there will be 10 episodes with different stories.
The production is part of a Latin project by Star +, which has also produced series on the same theme in Colombia and Mexico. Therefore, the full name of the national series is “It was not my fault: Brazil” – thus differing from “It was not my fault: Colombia” and “It was not my fault: Mexico” (already available on Star +).
The premiere of the Brazilian version will take place on 10 August.
