Marvel Studios President Responds to Ryan Gosling’s Will to Play Ghost Rider
After the announcement of phases 5 and 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) last Friday, July 23, Kevin Feige revealed that he ‘would love to find a place’ to Ryan Gosling in the superhero franchise. The actor cast to give life to Ken in Barbie (2023) previously mentioned their desire to be part of the MCU during the podcast Happy Sad Confused.
the president of marvel studios commented on the desire to gosling in playing the character during an interview with MTV News at Comic-Con. Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) would also have said that he would like to be the next anti-hero on the big screen.
“gosling it’s amazing and unbelievable…. i would love to find a place for him in the MCU He’s dressed up as Ken in Venice Beach and gets more press than the giant movies that come out that weekend. It’s amazing.”
Ghost Rider received its first film adaptation in 2007, with Nicolas Cage on the title paper. The film was co-starred Eva Mendeswho happens to be the longtime partner of gosling. The actors have two children together.
Ghost Rider is not on the list of upcoming studio productions, but it looks like Kevin Feige sympathized with the idea of having gosling in the skin of the antihero. Phase 5 has titles such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), InvasionSecret (2023), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), echo (2023) and more.
