Registration is now open for the 2025 Sepci-Sp Health and occupational Safety prize, Initiative of the Construction Social Service (Secoci-SP) in collaboration with the São Paulo State Civil Construction Industry Union (Sinduscon-Sp).
The prize aims to recognize, honor and disseminate the best health and safety practices to work in the works of buildings and works of art by builders, installers and sub-areas. It is the construction of the State of Saint Paul.
The launch event of the prize took place on February 19, at the Central Unit of the Institution, in San Paolo.
The prize is aimed at construction companies, with the aim of building works (residential, commercial, industrial, sports, port, airport, educational and hospital) and works of art (bridges and viaducts).
Among the news of this year there is the inclusion of a new category, dedicated to the best practices in ESG (English, environmental, social, governance), focusing on social responsibility.
The cases will be recognized in four main categories:
1 – risk control in flower beds – Innovative initiatives for workers’ safety;
2 – health control in the rally – innovative practices relating to the promotion, prevention and maintenance of collective health of workers;
3 – Environmental management in tds and surroundings – differentiated actions to reduce to a minimum/reduce the disorders caused in the surrounding environment during the period of its execution;
4 – Best Esg Practices (Special Category) – Social inclusion actions through productive and sustainable activities, aimed at workers, their families and the general community.
There will also be individual recognition for the main professionals in operating areas, human resources and the service area specialized in safety and work medicine, as well as in the “personality of the year”.
The SEPONCI-SP Health and Safety award will recognize the cases of construction sites in two state macro-heraments: the metropolitan region of Greater San Paolo (including the capital) and Interior and Coastal.
The recordings end on April 25 and the winners will take place by the end of the year.
