Faye Marlowe, star of the 1940s, best known for opposite Laird Cregar, Linda Darnell and George Sanders in the classic film noir. hangover square, died. He was 95 years old.

Born on October 26, 1926 in a Salvation Army home for single mothers in Los Angeles, Marlowe was adopted by a successful Hollywood couple.
His mother, known as Fanchon, produced live shows under the Fanchon & Marco brand that were prologues to movies in theaters (Bing Crosby, Myrna Loy and Judy Garland started in this magazine) and also produced films. Her father, William Simon, was a restaurant owner (Lyman chain).
He attended Beverly Hills High School and the University of Los Angeles High School, graduating in 1943.
Marlowe also appeared in George Seaton young lady (1945), starring a teenage Peggy Ann Garner in an adaptation of the long-running Broadway hit.
He was still working with Bram. the thief of venice (1950) and appeared in three episodes of the syndicated anthology series Konrad Nagel Theater Before leaving acting in 1955.
