Many people associated with the film have questioned the wait, and Miles Teller is no exception. After starting work on the first print jobs for Top Gun: Maverick in early 2020, the release of all films was halted. They are so hungry and they are waiting … I couldn’t wait for them to see it because, as you have seen, the movies have been a spaceship.
These other folks include a host of newcomers like Glen Powell, Danny Ramirez, and Greg Tarzan Davis, among other names. I mean, yeah, it’s a bit of a hassle when you have to wait for your run to start. It’s a big secret, this amazing thing that you can’t show anyone. But it’s a really good feeling to know you’re sitting on a winner, you know, to know you’re working with the best directors.
Luckily, it looks like Powell – and hopefully some of those other newcomers – really kept the attitude right as they waited for Paramount to break free. Dissident in the world. Once the studio did that, the film was unstoppable, not just at the national box office, but around the world. Of course, this has led to the question of whether or not there might be a third party best gun film, and has already been discussed.
