Netflix has released the poster and subtitled trailer for the third and final season of “Locke & Key”. The preview introduces a new key capable of opening the doors in other seasons, confirms the great threat of the season and foresees the return of the villain Dodge, after being defeated at the end of the second year.
Based on the Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son) comics drawn by Gabriel Rodriguez, the series follows a mother and her three children, after they move into the old family home, where they are haunted by an evil entity called Dodge. determined to torment them until she gets what she wants: keys of other dimensions, which are hidden in the residence. One of the keys opens a hole in hell, from which a powerful demon has escaped to terrorize the protagonists in the final episodes.
The cast features Emilia Jones (from the 2022 Academy Award-winning film “The Beat of the Heart”), Connor Jessup (“Falling Skies”) and Jackson boyfriend Robert Scott (Georgie from “It”) as the protagonists of the young brothers. Darby Stanchfield (Abby from “Scandal”) as her mother, Aaron Ashmore (“Killjoys”) as a family uncle and Laisla de Oliveira (“The Gifted”), a Canadian actress of Brazilian parents, as the main form by Dodge.
Developed by Meredith Averill (creator of “Star-Crossed”), Aron Eli Coleite (creator of “Daybreak”) and Carlton Cuse (creator of “Bates Motel” and “Jack Ryan”), returns to say goodbye on August 10th.
