After almost three hours, the call between the American and Russian presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, respectively, was aimed on Tuesday (18).
There is still not much information about what leaders said during the long -awaited conversation, but an American agent assistant declared on social networks that the chat was taking place positively.
The CNN station, citing Russian sources, said that the call occurred “very well” without providing further details on the subject.
“Under the guidance of the presidents Putin and Trump, the world has become a much safer place today. Historical!”
A high European Union official, in turn, said that the call will not be ignored during the next summit of the block leaders.
“For the EU, however, the truce can only be a stage on the road to the right and lasting peace,” he said. .
