Adapted from the play of the same name, Francis Weber’s cons of the cons of is one of the most popular French comedy of all time. When Thierry Lermit and Jacques Villerett’s famous adventure goes to TV, it is impossible to change the channel when we heard one of the countless cult replicas of the film!
The true triumph in the French box office, in 1998, was followed by VEBER’s feature film by Pierre Brochant, a mocking editor who participated in the brutal “idiots” and François Pigon, a poor bug, who was invited to pay for himself.
One last phone call
When the brochant learns that his wife Christine has left, the evening suddenly gets a completely unexpected turn, and now the Pigon is in the hands of all hoping. With incredible phone calls, Belgian accents, and more or less well -established strategies, two men will try to try to solve the situation.
Humorous from her first second in her last second, CONS dinner ends with a dramatic blow, which undoubtedly drives you back 27 years later.
Indeed, at the end of the film, when Christine was taken to the hospital after the road accident, François Pigonon manages to call him to become a doctor and decide to recognize the whole truth. It has just been found out why Pierre Brochant invited him, he was generously told by Christine’s all -encompassing evening, and all the efforts that Pierre had been able to do to try to find it.
He argues that he is currently in a telephone booth and that Pierre is not next to him, he is convinced that he has reached the broken pots.

It seems to have experienced things, and it seems that Francis Weber’s film is going to a classic happy ending. But this happens when the phone recovers: Christine recalls her husband.
In the heat of action, Mechanically, François won the phone, showing that he was in no way in the telephone booth and that he had his previous words at the same time.

Delicious frustrated and as funny as the rest of the film, in the form of a cliffhanger, accompanied by Vladimir Cosma’s excellent musical theme, so it leaves our imagination for almost three decades.
