Monday, April 7-According to the Gospel

Synopsis: According to the gospel, after a tragedy causes the death of his mother, a young singer named David Taylor leaves his religious principles, and the church led by his father to follow new ways. Fifteen years later, David lives on fame and success as a R&B singer in Los Angeles, California. When the young artist receives the news that his father is sick and that the family congregation is in trouble, he decides to return home in Atlanta. Tormented by childhood memories and focused on bringing a “new vision” to the church, David collides with his family, his career and the relationships he has left behind. Gradually, the singer rescues the lost time and forgets his old life, occupying an increasingly important position within the temple, trying to unite his passion for music with the religiosity he has rejected for so long.

Synopsis: The couple Maria (Naomi Watts) and Henry (Ewan McGregor) are enjoying the winter holidays in Thailand along with their three young children. But on the morning of December 26, 2004, while enjoying that paradise after a beautiful Christmas night, a tsunami of devastating proportions hits the place, dragging everything he finds ahead. Separated into two groups, the older mother and the eldest son will face desperate situations to stay alive, while somewhere else, the father and the two younger children have no idea if the other two are alive. This is when they begin to live a tragic life lesson, driven by the hope of reunion and mixing the most diverse feelings.

Friday, April 11-my friend, the dragon

Synopsis: After a car accident in the forest, little Pete (Oakes Fegley) is orphaned. He is soon found by the dragon Elliot, who protects him. Six years go by and the pair is in the most perfect tune, living in the forest without anyone noticing them, as Elliot has the ability to camouflage. But one day Pete finds the Grace Meacham Forest Guard clock (Bryce Dallas Howard). He comes to see her from afar, in an open where a logging tree is working, but is discovered by the young Natalie (Oona Laurence), who decides to follow him. The situation causes Pete to be discovered and, after suffering an accident where he is unconscious, is taken to the hospital. The situation leaves Elliot bewildered, to the point of leaving his home looking for the boy.
