The former president was hospitalized since last Friday 11, with abdominal pain
Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) published video this Saturday 12 and spoke of his health. On Friday 11, the former president had severe abdominal pain and was urgently frequented at the Aluízio Bezerra Municipal Hospital of Santa Cruz (RN). He was then transferred to the Rio Grande hospital in Natal, where he is still hospitalized.
“Yesterday [sexta]I was saved by an emergency at the Santa Cruz hospital (RN). There is a great possibility of being transferred to Brasilia, to continue the treatment and with possible surgery, “he said.
Despite Bolsonaro’s declaration, the medical team that deals with the former president has not mentioned the need for surgery so far.
How is Bolsonaro’s health?
According to a bulletin released by the Saturday hospital, Bolsonaro had a “quiet night” and all the vital signs and complementary exams are “inside normal”. Blood pressure and heartbeat also follow normal, without the need for control drugs.
“(Bolsonaro) presents an excellent condition of mood, a reduced abdominal distension and remains without analgesia. All vital signs and complementary exams remain in normal, without clinical complications to date”, says the bulletin, signed by Dr. Luiz Roberto Leite Fonseca, general manager of the Rio Grande Hospital.
The hospital reported that the former president “follows venous hydration through the central catheter, using the parenteral nutrition, the maintenance of previously established antibiotic therapy, with an open nasogastric probe and the regular use of other prescribed drugs”.
In addition, the hospital reported that, by personal decision, Bolsonaro will be transferred to Brasilia Saturday, in order to continue the treatment. It is expected to be sent to the DF Star hospital. (*With information from the Estadão content
