In Morbius, Adria Arjona plays Martine Bancroft – and enlisted the help of Ryan Reynolds to get the role
In morbius (2022), film by Marvel, Adria Arjona gives life to Martine Bancroft, female protagonist of the production. Interestingly, she had the help of Ryan Reynolds to get the paper.
In an interview with THR,Arjona revealed that the director Daniel Espinosa I thought she was too young to play martine — so I was in doubt whether I should give the actress a chance. With that, she called Ryan Reynolds to ask about the star.
“Then I found out that he had called Ryan Reynolds to ask ‘is she cool? Is she good at work?’ AND Ryan sent a lovely message. So I need to thank the Ryan, in a way, for this role and for speaking well of me,” said Arjona.
Both had collaborated in squad 6 (2019) — but the actress only found out about the help of Reynolds after winning the role in morbius (2022).
