“We’ll finish this before, both”: 55 years later, this interview with Fernandel is still very funny

We are in 1970. A year before his tragic disappearance, Fernandel has just become a happy comedy that likes Ulysis. The legendary actress, who considered one of the largest comics in French cinema, has acquired an international reputation for decades and introduced millions of viewers around the world, thanks to her roles, Schpountz, Red Inn or the famous saga Donoo.

“Do you feel at home, at home?”

As at the end of the actor’s career, during a special interview with Belgian television, he applied to the audience’s message. Earlier, interviewed by Flemish journalist Jan Van Rompay, he refrains to answer a simple little question: Does he feel at the Belgian home?

Priority, nothing easy! But as a journalist expresses his interrogation, the meaning of punishment suddenly becomes very confused. Fernandel reforms the question to make sure he understood correctly. And this is the beginning of 40 seconds of long (and funny) misunderstanding that the actor decides to conclude by order:

“Well, listen. We’ll finish it early, on both paper.”

“I used to enjoy that smile”

After this corneal deaf dialogue, after a few questions, Fernandel comes to his contagious smile when it comes to its success:

“As I grew up as my face became an adult figure. My smile flourished”He started revelation.
