Walking Dead: New zombies to face the heroes in the final episodes of the series?

No, the last episodes of The Walking Dead will not be easy for the heroes of the horror series. The Season 11 Episode 3 trailer did reveal that a new form of infection will allow the undead to have new abilities, like climbing walls or using doorknobs!

In an interview with our colleagues Digital SpySeries showrunner Angela Kang returned to the existence of these 2.0 zombies during the final episodes of the program and did not hesitate to draw an indirect parallel with the Covid-19 epidemic:

We can almost talk about the local option. And with every change in the rules of survival, that means the characters have to adapt and realize that their survival methods no longer work. (…) the rules of the game have changed…

A new threat that Daryl and his allies would do well to fight is Lance Hornsby, the right-hand man of Commonwealth Governor Pamela Milton, the final villain of the series, who confronts them. Not forgetting Sebastian Milton, Pamela’s spoiled rotten son of a bitch…

In addition to the Daryl-centric spin-off series (which Carroll will ultimately not appear in), The Walking Dead franchise news is also the announcement on the sidelines of Comic Con that there will be a Rick Grimes feature film. At the end of the mini-series, the sheriff, played by Andrew Lincoln, will share a poster with Michonne, as portrayed by Danai Gurira.

The third part of the final season of The Walking Dead can be seen in France exclusively on OCS Choc and OCS on demand from October 3rd.
