Discover the first images of Emmanuel Mouret’s new romantic comedy, Chronicle of the Past. In theaters on September 7.
What we say is what we do, and after 13 nominations for the 2021 César, Emmanuelle More is already back behind the camera chronicling a temporary affair.
The 52-year-old filmmaker continues his exploration of romantic relationships, this time starring Sandrine Kiberlain and Vincent McCain.
The actress plays Charlotte, a single mother who has an affair with a married man, Simon.
Called to see each other only for fun and not to experience the feeling of love, they are more and more surprised by their complicity.
“This is the story of two lovers, and the formal peculiarity of this story is that we meet these lovers at every meeting, we do not see their lives from the side.
We’re following a sort of ‘scenes from a single life’, if we can start with a Bergman film.”explained Emmanuel Mouret at the microphone of France Inter last year.
Presented this year as part of its Cannes premiere on the Croisette, Chronicle will hit theaters on September 7.
