In addition to criticizing producer Irwin Winkler, Sylvester Stallone claimed that actor Dolph Lundgren acted behind his back.
After announcement of dragonspin-off of Rocky Balboa, Sylvester Stallone criticized the producers involved in the project and called them “parasites.” On the contrary Creed: Born to Fight (2015), the actor has no involvement in this chapter of the franchise.
According to information from TheWrapthe screenwriter Robert Lawton was slated to write a spin-off film focused on the character Ivan Dragoplayed by Dolph Lundgrenwhich appeared in Rocky IV (1985) and Creed II (2018). On Instagram, stallone wrote a publication in which he criticized Irwin Winklerproducer of the franchise, and Lundgren for acting “behind” his back.
“Broken heart again… just found this out… Irwin Winklera pathetic 94-year-old producer and his imbecile vulture children, Charles and Davidare scraping the bones of another amazing character I created without even telling me,” the actor claimed on social media.
I apologize to the fans, I never wanted the characters in rocky exploited by these parasites… by the way, I once had nothing but respect for dolphin, but he NEVER told me about what was going on behind my back with the character I created for him!!! REAL FRIENDS are more precious than gold.
Sylvester Stallone made another post to call winkler of “leech” and “parasitic producer.” Dolph Lundgren responded to the former castmate and claimed how he “had the impression” that stallone was involved in dragon.
“Just to clear things up about a possible spin-off of dragon,” he said. “There is no approved script, no agreements, no director [escolhido] and I personally got the impression that my friend Sly Stallone was involved as a producer or even as an actor.”
There was a press leak last week, which was unfortunate. I’m in touch with Mr. balboa – just so all the fans can relax… that’s it.
