Google has discreetly launched a new initiative called 100 zerosIn collaboration with the media partners to produce range, to support films and series – with or without script Business Insider.
The goal is to use entertainment to bring the public closer, in particular the younger ones, the company’s products and technologies, such as IA, Avil Avousd Reality and Android.
This strategy goes beyond simple marketing. Google wants to positively influence the perception of its products by inserting them into creative stories without resorting to explicit advertising.
YouTube should not be the main platform
The company, however, does not try to directly promote YouTube as a visualization platform. Supported projects should be sold to traditional streaming studies and services such as Netflix.
The project has already taken its first steps. An example was the support for the horror movie “Cuckoo”Removed by Hunter Schafer, where the 100 Zeros logo appeared in the initial titles. In addition, the initiative has issued a request for shorts on artificial intelligence, with the intention of transforming two into films.
Android in evidence in productions
Despite the story of companies such as Starbucks and Nike in similar initiatives – some of which have been interrupted – Google seems determined.
The 100 Zeros team includes managers with experience in Hollywood, hired by flow and completely dedicated to the project. However, the company avoids attracting a lot of attention to the initiative, perhaps by testing the results before expanding its scope.
