“The Handmaid’s Tale” star Elisabeth Moss will star in the limited series “The Veil”, a new creation from prolific screenwriter Steven Knight (creator of “Peaky Blinders”, “See” and “Taboo”).
“The Veil” will focus on the troubled relationship between two women. One of them has a secret and the other needs to reveal it to save thousands of lives.
The attraction will have locations in Istanbul, Paris and London.
“I am absolutely thrilled to tell this story, which is truly international and very contemporary,” said Knight.
“The Veil” is developed by the streaming service Hulu (which also produced “The Handmaid’s Tale”), in collaboration with the American pay channel FX. There is no premiere date yet.
Moss will soon be seen in the fifth season of “The Handmaid’s Tale”. His future projects include the film “Next Goal Wins”, directed by Taika Waititi (“Thor: Love and Thunder”), the telefilm “She Will Rise”, about the life of US Congresswoman Katie Hill, and “Francis and the Godfather” . , on the backstage of the classic “Il Padrino”.
