Sedrick Klapish, from film to film, became a director who was expected and loved by the general public. From Riens, in 1992, in BODY, in 2022, his latest feature film, filmmaker multiplied public and critical successes, accumulated 17 million access to 14 feature films. Spanish Inn Trilogy, Russian dolls, Chinese puzzle, which ended in a series (Greek salad), was very successful (almost 7 million cumulative).
His 15th feature film arrives very soon as it will come out of the skin projection simultaneously. For the first time in his career, Kadrick Klapish shot a film at the Cannes Film Festival outside the competition: coming to the future.

French Cinema Young Generation in the same movie
This film is made in two eras and combines many new generations of actors such as Susan Lindon, Abraham Worker (now in Andorra series credits), Paul Cancer, Vasily Schneider or even Apple (Claire Pommet, see our interview below). Cédric Klapisch is also headed by Vincent McAnie, Julia Pyaton, Sarah Girodo and her favorite comedies of her film: Zinedine Sualem and Dance de France.
Synopsis is as follows: Today, in 2025, about thirty people from the same family will learn that they will receive an abandoned house for years. Four of them, seb, abdel, céline and guy are responsible for its inventory. These distant “cousins” after finding a hidden treasure in this old home. They appear in the footsteps of Adele, who left his native Normandy at the age of 20.
This Adel was found in Paris in 1895, when the city was in the middle of the industrial and cultural revolution. For four cousins, this introspective journey in their genealogy forces them to discover them at the end of the 19th century at this particular moment when photography was invented and Impressionism was born. Face to face 2025 and 1895 between the two eras, they will question their present and their ideals, and tells: the coming of the future.
