In Mass, Leo XIV appeals to the Church authorities

Pope Leo XIV celebrated on Friday (9), in the Sistine Chapel, in the Vatican, his first mass as the leader of the Catholic Church and indicated “an indispensable commitment to those who in the Church who exercise an authority in the Church: to disappear so that Christ remains, to be small to be known for him to be known and glorified (see John 3:30), to completely spend the opportunity to know him.”
