Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Thursday, August 4, 2022 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Thursday the 4th August In such a big sun…

Although he has been given a means of payment, Jacques cannot make any transfers. Not understanding what is happening, he calls his bank, but Laetitia cannot answer because she is already on a date.

For his part, Mark wants to enjoy his partner before they have a baby. That is why he offers Miriam a weekend trip to Capri, which she happily accepts.

Later, Laetitia contacts Berthier at L.Cosmétiques to confirm that they have a million euro contract with Jacques Mouret. After looking at the email he just sent, the company’s accountant promises to call him later, it’s time for some checking.

Without waiting, Berthier shows the two contracts to Elizabeth and Miriam. A businessman will immediately realize that their client has sent a fake contract to their bank to get cash. So she instructs Laurent to call Jacques at the bank and warn them. Angered, he also plans to file a complaint as soon as possible. For her part, Miriam is upset and wants to wait for an explanation, but Elizabeth tells her that they risk being accused of fraud and attempted forgery. What’s more, their insurance wouldn’t know they were waiting. For Elizabeth, Miriam needs to stop being sentimental and think about the good of the company.

Despite everything, Miriam gives Jacques a date. Uncomfortable, the latter explains that he needed this money because he didn’t make it after the theft. Although she begs him to cover up to save her farm, Miriam informs her that the bank already knows and that the company will file a complaint.

A worried Jacques calls Leonora and informs her of the situation. Lui’s mother, embarrassed, then vows not to give up.

Later, Jacques is visited by his son, who scolds him for using Mirian, but above all for putting him in a difficult situation. If he is sorry, Jacques specifies that he had no choice. And to add that he did it for himself and Louis, who would inherit his farm after his death. Unfortunately, Mark no longer believes him. Because his land means more to him, he urges her to take care of him, then says she never wants to see him again before angrily leaving the place.

Victor comes to Helen with a bouquet of roses. Unable to resist the temptation, they kiss. After sharing an intimate moment, Victor and Elena promise to call each other during the day and then go to work.

For her part, Claire still resents her father for protecting Helen, but Kira points out that she has nothing to do with it before clarifying that she supports him. Moreover, he promised that he would not see him again.

Later, Helen learns that she has been transferred to the trauma unit. Relieved, he tells David the good news. Even if she misses him a lot, the nurse says that she is very happy for him. Claire, who has heard everything, says she really wants to see him go.

Afterwards, Claire joins her father in the thatched hut and apologizes to him for being hard on her. In order to forgive him, he invites her to dinner, but Victor refuses, saying he is tired. In fact, he spends the evening with Elena. If the latter is afraid that he will disappear from her life, Victor replies that he does not want to miss their story.
