Brand New Netflix Series 2022 – South Korean Drama “Black Bride”https://ru.hellomagazine.com/”Desires and Marriage” – The entire first season of eight episodes is now available to watch. The plot is built around a specific marriage agency for the richest: ambitious clients and clients want to improve their social status and get into high society with the help of a successful couple. However, the term “marriage agency” familiar to us does not convey the atmosphere: of course, the Eastern worldview and worldview are very different from our modern foundations. Relations between men and women, the attitude towards elders and the rules of communication between fathers and their adult children – rather conservative mores at first discourage (are we ready for the fact that it is impossible to marry a beloved woman if the father is against this marriage?), And then it seems to return to simple human values, which in our today’s society, in a sense, have faded into the background. And at least for the sake of this cleansing feeling, it is worth plunging into this world.

Another novelty for 2022 is a six-episode British historical drama “Hotel Portofino” is the story of the English Ainsworth family, who own a hotel for their compatriots in a fashionable resort on the Italian Riviera. The time of action is 1926, someone heals the wounds of the First World War, someone is fond of Mussolini’s politics, and someone is just looking for a way to make money. A high rating, insanely beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, but the impression remains twofold: as if the scriptwriters played a little and missed some sense of reality, it all looks like a luxurious performance – and he can’t be fully believed. One of the main roles is Natasha McElhone, known to us from the American series with David Duchovny “Californication”.

Can’t get past “Top Gun: Maverick” with Tom Cruise – who, after much hesitation, agreed to star in the continuation of the story, first released in 1986, for a fabulous fee of 10 million dollars! It’s great that the film is not stuffed with special effects to the eyeballs, everything looks real and for real – with an emphasis on relationships between people. A very human story, a brilliant actor, plus a crazy budget of $ 140 million – and everything worked out!

And not exactly a novelty, but news for our film market: in Russia, a concert film will be shown on the big screen on August 11 “Metallica: Through the Impossible”, filmed in 2013, tells the story of a fan of the band who, through a city in chaos, is trying to deliver a mysterious bag to a concert of his favorite musicians. Each event is a reference to one of the legendary songs, and this is a real gift for fans of the group (and I am one of them!), who dream of re-experiencing the primal power of these compositions. I’ve already seen it and it’s pure delight. I love films about idols – these are stories about real people, about real destinies that no even the most talented screenwriter will invent. By the way, on August 11, the film will be presented by radio presenter Rita Mitrofanova on October 11..
