Lastly, it was and I am very happy to have the opportunity to return this beautiful character to Cannes, especially with Hapsa Herz, who is a very big director and playing with G-Min Park, who is a wonderful actor. Very proud, very honored.

Hapsa Hertz :: The actor started when writing the script. I have already written three versions and asked for production quickly that the actress started as soon as possible because I knew it would be a difficult character and that she had to take her time. So we did casting and, Nadia, I saw him in the pictures. It was the director of casting that approached him on the street and I immediately had something, I wanted to meet her very quickly. So he passed the tests, then I met him and I knew quickly. Very fast, I knew. I met other people, but every time he was back. When we first met and saw him from behind, I told myself: “No, but it’s her!”

Nadia Melit: Initially, I followed the course of staff (techniques of science and physical and sports activities) on the sports square. I have never done a movie theater and no theater so far, so it is real for the first time. And it was my curiosity that pushed me. I didn’t even know Hapsia’s movies, but I did a study after I met her and was a little interested in her filmography and her career, which is a very good trip elsewhere. I also find it a little bit in it, so he is definitely a director for whom I have great admiration and respect.

Hapsa Hertz: Once I found Nadia, I, of course, adapting the script to her personality. I like to do this according to the people I choose. That is why they often ask me whether they have passion, if they like the sport, what they are doing … When I met him, he told me he was doing a little football, so I asked him to send me the videos, and I saw him doing it very well. I found it very beautiful, so I told myself that I had to integrate into the movie. Alive He’s not doing football, but I love the inspiration from those who make the characters, change, copy.

How did you work together to maintain this natural and spontaneity that you have seen on the screen of Nadia?

Nadia Melit: Everything was very natural, because I was very surrounded by this shot and are very benevolent and hypertensive, unless I had experience. Everything was simple in this regard, and as you know, we talked a lot about Hapsia and Fatima. We immediately had this participation, this fluid, which was not a problem, and I felt very fast.

Hapsa Hertz: It was a lot of hard work, rehearsal. I really do rehearsals as in the theater, and during these rehearsals, we discuss, eat, live. We got to know each other that we all feel comfortable and confident. And then it was done naturally. Anyway, he really has the intellect of the game. Intelligence of the game and understanding. So it was very easy. We had a chance to repeat well, so everything was square, organized. Then, according to each socket, we make a small adjustment that we try to on the site. But I really had a character, his emotions, his feelings. Everything was accurate.
