Jose Ron showed a preview of his first nude in “La mujer del diablo”: “There are intense scenes”

“The Devil’s Woman” is about Stockholm syndrome, as its protagonist, Cristo Beltrán (José Ron), develops an intense obsession with a woman named Natalia (Carolina Miranda).

He will do everything possible to win her over and she will have to give in to his wishes to protect the people she loves. But will interpretation soon become a true passion or a survival technique?

This exclusive ViX+ series is not only a commitment to a fresh and different story, but has also marked a new stage in José Ron’s career: it allowed him to do his first nude.

Jose Ron as a villain in “The Devil’s Woman”, a ViX+ series

Jose Ron has a lot of experience in leading roles on television, but most of the characters he has played have been “the good guys” in history.

In “The Devil’s Woman” the exact opposite happens. His character, Cristo Beltrán, is a ruthless man who is used to getting what he wants, including a woman’s love. José Ron himself revealed in an interview for Televisa that it was a big challenge for him to interpret this role for the ViX + exclusive series:

“They called me, they told me about the project. I started reading the scripts and I hesitated, I was like ‘oh hell, isn’t that the character they want me to play?’ Suddenly reading it I thought it was Minore’s character.”

It is the first time that he impersonates a villain, very different from the characters he has played in the past in telenovelas such as “Enamorrme de Ramón”, “Ringo” or “La desalmada”.

There is no doubt that Jose Ron is one of the most handsome soap opera actors today. However, he had never appeared on screen “as God brought him into the world.”

But that has changed, as her role in “La mujer del diablo” allowed her to explore this more romantic side of her professional career. On the orange carpet of the launch of ViX +, the largest Spanish-language streaming service in the world, he revealed in an interview with Edén Dorantes Oficial that he looks the first nude of his career:

“The scenes were very good. Everything will be there, they must see everything that happens, everything will be seen. There are very intense scenes.

In an interview with Televisa, he also revealed that “The Devil’s Woman” allowed him to play scenes that wouldn’t be possible on TV and that the series will be very intense in every way:

“Of course, with all the meanings of violence, love, eroticism, passion, nakedness. A thousand things I wouldn’t do on TV. When we had a really nice sex scene, I said to her, “Look, Caro, this is the first time I’ve ever done a scene like this.” He says ‘are you falling?’ Yes, because on TV it’s very different: you cover everything, they don’t tone down or protect certain things too much and not here. From the beginning I was like ‘hey, what a challenge, how different and how well it’s going'”.
