
Netflix will adapt more comics from the independent publisher Dark Horse Comics following the success of “The Umbrella Academy”.
Upcoming releases will be a film and series based on the creations of writer Matt Kindt (who co-created “BRZRKR” with Keanu Reeves).
The film is an adaptation of the miniseries “Bang!”, Designed by Wilfredo Torres in 2020, which will reunite director David Leitch and actor Idris Elba, after working together on the blockbuster “Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw” (2019) . ). “Mind MGMT” was published for 36 issues between 2012 and 2015, which were collected in six hardcover volumes. Adaptation does not have a known team yet.
In addition to “The Umbrella Academy”, Netflix has released the film “Polar” and the animations “The Chronicles of Usagi: The Samurai Rabbit” and “Chicken and the Dark Hamster” in collaboration with Dark Horse.
