Former player Geovani Silva, Idol of Vasco and Railway Sports, suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest last Thursday. Geovani fell to his house and had to be brought to the Praia Da Costa hospital in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo.
In the unit, he received emergency care and after being intubated, he was in a stable state. Then there was the transfer of the former player to a private hospital in Vitória. This Friday (27), the idol of the tub suffered two heart arrests. In the first, it took 13 minutes until resuscitation occurs. In the second, it took eight minutes.
This is the second time that the “little prince”, a nickname he received during his career in Vasco, suffers from heart problems. In 2022, Geovani spent 20 days in hospital after swelling the body. The former player also suffered from spine cancer cancer in 2014 and, in 2024, he had dehydration due to the inflammation and infection in the intestine.
