The operation, nicknamed Operation Hammer, the largest furtive attack in the United States against different critical structures in Iran, was based on a highly sophisticated tactical architecture, where, above all, total surprise was fundamental. To achieve this, the United States started with one of the oldest and most effective war tactics. It all started 48 hours before the offensive, when Trump gave two weeks to “prevent” the attack.
Perfidy
Those two weeks never crossed the head of the United States and Israel and few other actors knew it. In fact, most European allies tried to dialogue a few hours before knowing the current operation. From a diplomatic and ethical point of view, Washington was involved in a form of political perfidy, since Iran participated in negotiations that the United States used for the secret offensive.
