In June, Machine Gun Kelly embarked on a massive U.S. stadium tour and continues to perform until mid-August before heading to Europe. However, the musician / actor just received a less-than-stellar reception in Omaha, Nebraska ahead of his Thursday night show. One of MGK’s tour buses, which he fondly calls the Power Rangers, was vandalized with a homophobic slur and a giant penis drawing.
In the yellow spray paint, a simple drawing of an ejaculating penis was labeled on the left side of the red MGK tour bus and “Rap Devil Fa — t” was written on the opposite side. The Omaha World Herald confirmed to the Omaha Police Department that the vandalism was discovered Thursday morning before the vehicle headed for its destination, the CHI Health Center.
Following the incident, MGK took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon while in bed to deal with the incident. He said this about tour bus labeling:
You are so stupid. You tagged a bus thinking it was my bus, bad bus, you fucking idiot. Understanding the first part of the crime. I was on the buses until 4:30 in the morning which means you waited until 5 in the morning to spray paint on a penis. [Laughs] You could have been at home, huddled with your partner, doing something, but instead, ‘Damn, I just wish I could go to his hotel room and spray that dick.’ My God, they washed before I saw it, aren’t you sad? I’m still in bed, I couldn’t even enjoy it. You are scared.
According to the police, the spray paint peeled off easily with the mineral oil and did not cause permanent damage to the “Power Ranger”. a woman inside Facebook was posted online Thursday with a video of the penis and slander on the MGK bus, but claims she was rejected by Machine Gun Kelly security for filming the incident while the situation was in the works.
Machine Gun Kelly obviously has four tour buses that he toured with: one red, one yellow, one green and one blue. In a recent Instagram story, MGK showed them, including an additional red bus. In light of his comments, it appears that what was tagged wasn’t necessarily his bus, even if the message was meant for him. He could have belonged to his team, or owner Willow Smith, like the new red-haired artist shared, he had stayed at the scene of the accident after the show until the morning before the tagger pulled out the spray paint.
