CinemasUperman wins themed playlists on Spotify curated by James Gunn

With the debut of Superman increasingly close, DC and Warner Bros. began the campaign to promote the feature directed by James Gunn. One of the most curious actions so far has been the partnership with Spotify to launch Personalized playlists who explore what the characters in the movie would be listening, according to the director himself.

In addition to the official playlist with confirmed trails on the soundtrack and one inspired by the mood of the film, the project has a series of individually dedicated musical teams to the characters. The lists are being released in three blocks on the DC Comics profile on the platform.

In the first block, already available, the audience finds the songs “favorite” from:

• Clark Kent: with tracks like “Don’t Stop Believin “from the band Journey, and “Shake It Out “from Florence + The Machine.

• Lex Luthor: with “FAME “by David Bowie, and “This Town Ain’t Big Enough for Both of Us “from Sparks.

• Eve Teschmacher: with “Blank Space “by Taylor Swift, and “Baby One More Time “from Britney Spears.

• Metamorph: Highlight for “I was never the normal boy “from Nightmare of You.

• The engineer: represented by “LA MER “from Nine Inch Nails.

The playlists of the other characters in the movie – Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen – will be released on July 8, followed by those of Amazing Lord, Black Hawk and Green Lantern on July 11.

What is the story of Superman?

Superman will accompany Superman/Clark Kent (David Corenswet, Pearl, Hollywood) In search of reconciling his Kryptonian heritage with his human creation. When debut Superman?
