It’s the end of 2012, when Elizabeth Olsen approaches her agents and apparently asks them to find her a role in a movie saga. Prior to the Olsen twins’ small and big successes, she still mostly appeared privately in her parent’s series and TV movies, as well as in independent films.
After the failure of the American remake of Old Boy in which he appeared, the actor wanted to do more commercial films and signed the kaiju film Godzilla (2014) opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Elizabeth Olsen continued her journey with the MCU to the point where her character got her own miniseries called WandaVision and explored the witch’s grief over the death of her husband in Avengers: Infinity War.
More recently, Scarlet Witch appeared as an antagonist in Doctor Strange’s Multiverse of Madness, in which Wanda is still searching for her family. At this point, we don’t know which project the character will return to, which in the meantime has allowed Elizabeth Olsen to shoot a new series, Love and Death, planned for HBO Max, in which she plays … an ax murderer.
