Supermanlong written and directed by James Gunn (Galaxy Guardians: Volume 3), and starring David Corenswet(Hollywood), debut in Brazilian theaters starting this Thursday, July 10th. The news marks the launch of DC’s new cinematic universe (DCU), now led by Gunn and Peter Safran.

1. David Corenswet – Superman/Clark Kent

2. Rachel Brosnahan – Lois Lane

4.NATHAN FILLION – GUY GARDNER

7. María Gabriela de Faría – The Engineer

11. SkylerSpinning – Jimmy Olsen
Original character: Daily planet photographer Jimmy Olsen is Superman’s best friend, and his courage and bravery at danger make him a hero for his own right.
Everyone needs a best friend, even Superman. Perhaps the greatest “bromance” in the DC universe is what exists between photographer and former newbie reporter Jimmy Olsen and the Man of Steel, and he dates back to the beginnings of the golden age of comics. As much as Lois Lane is the love of the life of Clark Kent and Perry White, editor of the daily planet, is a substitute father figure, Jimmy Olsen is the younger brother that Superman never had.
Despite his seemingly young appearance, often portrayed wearing butterfly tie and freckles, James Olsen is a journalist and career photographer on the daily planet since the end of his teens when he was an internship of Perry White.

12. Wendell Pierce – Perry White
Original character: Born and raised in Metropolis, Perry White is the fearless editor-in-chief of the world renowned newspaper Planeta Diário. Famous for his firm but fair attitude, and his spot to identify potentials, Perry was responsible for hiring Lois Lane and Clark Kent for the newspaper team and keeping the planet working during numerous disasters and possible acquisitions.
Although Perry has never been officially informed about Clark’s secret life as Superman until very recently, it seems impossible for him not to discover her. As Batman once noted, he is a reporter too good not to have discovered.
Still, Perry’s professionalism and loyalty of both Clark and Superman prevented him from revealing or complicating the obscure ways that superhero journalists need to go every day. Regardless of what he has known and when, Perry is proud to consider one of Superman’s friends and even more than defending the truth and justice represented by the free press.
