Chris Miller was eager to rejuvenate the image of the characters created by the Belgian author Peyho and who had already made some films and series. Director in the press team states: “Smurfs have been dormant for some time. I thought a new movie was necessary. In this feature film, the public will see Smurfs as no one has seen them yet.
Inspired by Peyo’s original comic books, we mentioned a franchise. We have transferred the comic book world into a computer -created world that is Imeretian and tactful. “
The design of the characters differs from the previous repetition. For more cartoons, this film is loyal to the original work. Ordinary characters are represented as well as elements that have succeeded in Saga.

It is very colorful and punctuation especially by the Rihanas hits (which doubles in Smurfette in VO), the film combines adventure, humor and emotion in the initiative story available at all ages. Smurfs Version 2025 offers a modern transformation of the world created by Peyo, and respects its original spirit.
What can worry about them : There is really no concern about something here. Gargamel’s brother Razamel and the filmmakers of the film may be concerned about the most sensitive little viewers, as well as the scene in which Grimmier goes to the dark side. On the other hand, the passage between different worlds, animated, real, and brutal rhythm can exacerbate the little ones.
Whatever they deeply retain inside : In this movie, smurfs discover that their place in the world is much larger than you could imagine, and that they have a much bigger mission than they ever believed. A message that hopes that especially the youngest viewers will talk about.

But the true emotional influence of the story is based on the main characters’ journey: nameless smurf. During the adventure, the latter is desperately trying to find his gift, his special trait, which can eventually be worth the name. Useless for himself, he doubts himself and question his place in the village.
For the commander of Jerim, who votes in French, this character depicts an important message to the children. The actor trusts our microphone: “The film tells a wonderful message to the kids: Have the courage to go to your bottom and you will see that you are not empty. You may be an artist, a musician, you may be talented for things you don’t care about yet. You open the world. EI find it very beautiful.»
The striving for universal identity, which is emphasized by the well-being of Smurfette, which plays an important role in the awakening of the little character. Smurfs is a film about diversity, solidarity and self -esteem to see from the age of 6.
