Be careful, spoilers! This article returns to the plot and end until we know. If you haven’t seen a movie and don’t want to know about the content, don’t continue reading.
This is a film that marks and remains in memory for a long time. Directed by Andrew Heag, until we know that we are pushing us into the world of Adam, the author of the gay script in his forty -five, which brilliantly interpreted Andrew Scott. Adam lives in an almost empty building in London. He is a lonely boy, a bit of a quiet and painful past.
Everything changes when he meets Harry, who is performed by Polskali, a young man who, despite his injuries, tries to establish a connection with Adam. One evening, as well as alone, he knocked on Adam’s door and causes him to spend the evening. If Adam refuses that evening, he will soon find Harry. Their relationship quickly becomes the heart of beating the movie.
Magnetic duo
The strength of this story is due to the fact that you lose bearings, you play over time, but especially with emotions. Adam, visiting a childhood house, discovers that his parents (impeccable claire foy and Jamie Bell), who died at the age of twelve, always occupies the building. They had no wrinkles and seemed to be frozen in the 80’s at their death.
This meeting with the past serves Adam’s catalyst, who must confront his grief, agrees that he has mourned for so many years of his parents and the possibility of a new love in the present, Harry.
The end of the end
The film receives a heart -wrenching point, at the end of the feature film, when Adam’s Harry’s body is discovered, he is lifeless in his apartment. The announcement of his death, which dates back to the first meeting, is shocked by the audience. Slightly, as in the sixth sense, but with its very personal pate, Andrew Hizig tells us since the beginning of the ghost history.
This is a way to direct the director to study the loneliness and the topics of making. He also produces keys here to understand the message he wants to achieve. But even cryptological, this end is sad and deeply resonant. After a long time.
In the final scene, Adam and Harry – the ghost version as parents – share a huge moment. Their connection overcomes time and space. When they included, the brilliant light symbolizes their eternal love and offers a melancholy and soothing conclusion.
We really do not know, eventually the dead Adam is not, and if this empty building that occupies it, it is not a kind of purification. But no matter what. Andrew Heeg hopes the message and tells us that love will overcome death.
