Drivers should be aware of the ban on Wednesday to advance the expansion works
Wednesday (23), the Ers-118 will have one of its access handles to BRS-290 (motorway) temporarily blocked. The interdiction will take place between 7 and 18 hours, in the junction between the two motorways, which affect the drivers who follow Alvorada-Gravicí and want to access Porto Alegre.
The block is necessary to perform expansion works of the highway, including the asphalt flooring and the implementation of surface and deep drainage systems. These improvements are part of a Road Road (Daer) autonomous road department project to increase road capacity and improve the flow of regional traffic.
During the intervention, the alternative of the route will be a return located about 500 meters ahead, near the trenches of the industrial district of Gravataí. The deviation will be reported and prepared to absorb the increase in the volume of vehicles.
The works aim to offer greater safety and agility in access to capital, in particular in points with a high demand for traffic. The forecast is that standardization will take place at the end of the same day.
