US has criticized the United Nations Conference on 2 state solution

New York City in the United States hosted an International United Nations Conference (Un) Monday (28) focused on the resolution of two states between Israel and Palestinians.

The Americans, through the spokesperson of the State Department, Tammy Bruce, defined the proposal for the “advertising state” and criticized the president of France Emmanuel Macron, who will recognize Palestine in the next United Nations General Assembly.

“An advertising blow that occurs in the middle of the delicate to end the conflict. Far from promoting peace, the conference will prolong the war, encourage Hamas, reward its obstruction and undermine real efforts to achieve peace,” said Washington.

Already Mohammad Mustafa, Palestinian Prime Minister, warned in his speech that the Islamic movement should “deliver the weapons”, “free the hostages” and give up the control of Gaza.

“All countries have the responsibility to act now to end the war against our people in Gaza and throughout Palestine, to guarantee the release of hostages and prisoners and to guarantee the withdrawal of the Israeli employment forces,” said the politician, who is an employee of the Palestinian Authority.

At the opening of the event, the United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has assessed that discussions in New York “can and should serve as a decisive turning point” in the situation in the Middle East.

“We must guarantee that this is not only another well -intentioned rhetorical exercise. It could serve as a decisive turning point that catalyzes irreversible progress towards the end of the occupation and the realization of our aspiration shared by a practicable solution of two states,” said the diplomat.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, defended the application of international law in the “credible accusations of genocide”. The chancellor also recalled the rules that nations must follow the illegal occupation of the region, including the support of the Palestine entry as a complete member of the United Nations and defend the legal distinction between Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory.

“These are the legal actions that States can take now. The credibility of the international order depends on this non -selective question. What we need now is the political will and a solid monitoring process of this conference. We will transform the law into action and action into justice and peace,” he said.

Organized by France and Saudi Arabia, the event began today (28) and will take place until next Wednesday (30) at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Discussions bring together diplomats and representatives of various nations.
