Associations Press Lula for Streaming Taxation

The associations of the Brazilian audiovisual sector have released a letter by defending the urgency of the bill that could increase the taxation of streaming services in the country. The document was also sent last week to President Lula, According to Agência Brasil.

“In a year of such important results, in which our works have placed Brazil in the largest events in the world that provide the enormous international projection and demonstrating the priceless value of Brazilian audiovisual production, we cannot respond with a regulation that, in addition to being late, denoting the surrender and vassalage to the great technologies active in the country”, says the letter.

Fight with the giants
