Opposition leaders and PT in the Chamber comment on Trump’s decisions; Look what they say

PL Zucco says that the government must “get out of paralysis” and that Brazil is in “institutional instability”, while Lindbergh Farias of Lula’s party says that the United States wants to “submit Brazil as if it were a neocolonia”

Brasilia-Sosteneri of the former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in the Chamber of Representatives commented on the imposition of 50% of the rates on Brazil and the sanctions to the Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes on Wednesday, through an official declaration.

For the opposition, Trump’s action shows that Lula “must leave paralysis and act urgently” and underlines that “subsequent abuses, arbitrary and controversial decisions have placed Brazil in an unprecedented institutional instability”.

On the other hand, the PT states that the rate is a “political-economic and aggression for our national sovereignty” and that the American government acts “imperialist, extraterritorial and illegal, articulated by the fascist international in an attempt to transform Donald Trump into the new Cesar”.
