Exhibition in Brazilian theaters from 3 July, “Jurassic World: Request” is the new chapter of the most famous Dinosaur film franchise. This is the seventh production of the series as a whole, but the fourth inside the “Jurassic World” line.

For those who do not know it, the “Jurassic Park” franchise is divided into two series: the original trilogy, called “Jurassic Park Trilogy” and the latest “Jurassic World” series.

Although part of this second series, “Jurassic World: Shortcowning” acts as an independent sequence of “Jurassic World: Domain” (2022), the latest film published so far.

However, despite being synonymous with cinematographic event, this franchise originated in the book “Jurassic Park”, written by Michael Crichton and published in 1990.

Jurassic Park: The Dinosaur Park (1993)

Directed by Steven Spielberg, this is the first film of the franchise and was based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton.

In the plot, a millionaire can bring dinosaurs back to life and create a themed park. However, an arrest on the structures puts a group of visitors who try to survive these creatures in freedom. Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum come to the film.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)

This sequence also presents Steven Spielberg in the direction and is based on the novel by Michael Crichton “The Lost World”. In the plot, a second place with genetically modified dinosaurs, the island of Sorna is the target of an expedition that does not come out as expected. The cast includes Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore.

Jurassic Park III (2001)

Conclusion of the original trilogy, “Jurassic Park III” accompanies the paleontologist Alan Grant who is convinced by a rich couple to make a very wrong excursion on the island of Sorna. The cast includes Sam Neill.

Jurassic World – The World of Dinosurs (2015)

Initially of the “Jurassic World” trilogy, this film is 22 years after the events of the original of 1993, on the same island, Nublar, which now has a new dinosaur themed park. However, chaos rises when a transgenic dinosaur comes out. The cast includes Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Jurassic World: threatened Kingdom (2018)

In the plot of the “threatened kingdom”, an imminent volcanic eruption threatens to extinguish the surviving dinosaurs of the destroyed park. The cast includes Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Jurassic World: Domain (2022)

The dinosaurs now live alongside humans in “domination”. Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill, of “Jurassic Park” (1993), return to the cast together with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
