The plot of the film revolves around Frank Richards, a retired police officer. When he becomes the only witness to the murder, a kind of hunt opens up for him. But by drawing Frank’s family into the game, the criminals make a big mistake, which will cost them dearly. Why else is the movie worth watching?
Firstly, in “Dangerous Witness” Bruce Willis really played the main role. Bruce is an actor who has conquered us with such films as “Die Hard”, “Pulp Fiction”, “The Sixth Sense” and many others. He is a world-famous symbol of the action movies of the 90s, when instead of disks or online downloads, you had to look for video cassettes, which were almost impossible to find, and those found were with clumsy translations, and yet they were our window to the world of cinema, and stars like Bruce Willis is our guide to this amazing world of explosions, action and drama.
The film was produced by Randall Emmett (“The Irishman”, “Two Guns”) and George Furla (“Escape Plan”, “Survivor”). They decided to take on the project, seeing great potential in it. And while their names may not be familiar to you, know that Emmett and Furla have worked side by side with the likes of Martin Scorsese, Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, and have certainly gained the knowledge and experience to create a product that is not will leave you indifferent.
Another star of the film is Ashley Greene, who is unforgettable for her iconic role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight saga. We all remember that vampire baseball scene: a thunderstorm, Muse – Supermassive Black Hole is playing, Alice swings, effectively raising her leg, and throws the ball in such a way that astonishes all the players. If this scene pops up in your mind as vividly as it does for us, be sure to watch the movie “Dangerous Witness” and then do a “Twilight” marathon.
Mike Burns – the film’s director – allowed Bruce Willis to improvise a lot with dialogue and with the placement of objects in the frame. When was the last time you heard about Bruce being involved in writing your character? Make sure it comes out with brilliance.
The genre of the film is thriller. Difficult genre. But “Dangerous Witness” manages to keep your attention until the last minutes, allowing you to delve into the characters and find yourself in them. The film raises difficult topics and makes you think, but at the same time filled with action and drive. Happy viewing!
