The presidents of the Chamber and the Senate reacted to the actions of the Bolsanist opposition to prevent the functioning of the two houses in the press for the approval of the Amnesty’s PL and the impeachment of Minister Alexandre de Moraes. Hugo Motta has announced that the deputies who prevent the votes will be suspended from the mandate. In the meantime, David Alcolumbe has ordered the remote session of the Senate on Thursday.

“I will not accept intimidation or attempts to embarrass the presidency of the Senate. Parliament will not be hostage for actions aimed at destabilizing its functioning,” said Alcoholumbe.

In the Chamber, after the leading session in Motta’s official residence, the mayor planned a plenary facial session at 20:30, although the opposition continues to occupy the house table.

According to the leader of PT, Lindbergh Farias (RJ), the President of the Chamber indicated that the deputies will prevent him from hiring the chair in the plenary will be suspended. According to the leader of the PDT Mario Heringer (MG), the suspension should be six months.

Motta also indicated that deputies who try to prevent him from preside over during the session could have names sent to the ethical council, Lindbergh said. According to Mário Heringer, the legislative police can also be called in the event of resistance by opposition deputies.
