The long -awaited horror movie The Time of Evildirected by Zach Cregger (Brutal nights), promises a unique and disturbing film experience. With debut today, 7, the feature features a plot of mystery and suspense, where the characters face terrifying events that will change their lives forever.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, CREGGER revealed that one of the most striking scenes of the movie was inspired by Photography “Girl Napalm” of Nick UTwhich captured a tragedy of the Vietnam War in 1972. The image, which shows a burned Vietnamese child running after an air strike, was the basis for one of the most disturbing scenes of The Time of Evilwhere the children mysteriously disappear and run down the street at night, remembering the iconic photography.
In a conversation about the structure of the movie, CREGGER also mentioned that it was inspired by the classic Magnolia (1999) of Paul Thomas Anderson To create an interconnected narrative, where each chapter focuses on different characters, all affected by a common event.
