In an interview with Globonews Studio I, Haddad explained that the dialogue with Beesent began to be articulated after the 50% rate announced by the United States on 9 July, which increased taxes on Brazilian products.
Negotiations for the meeting began on July 21, but were interrupted last week.
“The militancy that operates from the White House acted with some consultants and the meeting that would be virtual has not been marked and has not been reprogrammed so far,” said the minister.
