“The Gray Man”
In this Netflix film directed by the Russo brothers (Avengers: Endgame’) and based on the novels by author Mark Greaney, Chris Evans plays the role of Lloyd Hanson.
The wearer of that big mustache is a psychopathic villain out to catch Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), a CIA agent who accidentally reveals the agency’s dark secrets.

“Mission: Impossible Fallout”
In the sixth installment of “Mission: Impossible” starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Henry Cavill appears as August Walker, a high-ranking CIA agent assigned to track Hunt on his new mission.
The mustache that Cavill uses in this film transcended his character and the film, because in 2018 Paramount Pictures refused to allow the actor to shave to reshoot scenes from “Justice League”, so Warner Bros. was forced to ” shave’ digitally with not very convincing results.
“Top Gun: Maverick”
The ‘Top Gun’ sequel hit theaters after 36 years, and Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw’s character, son of the late Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw, sports his father’s ’80s-style moustache.
The resemblance between actors Anthony Edwards (Goose) when he was young and Miles Teller (Rooster) is quite enough, but with such a similar mustache it seems as if they were indeed father and son.
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”
In the 2019 film ‘Star Wars’, the character of Lando Calrissian, played by Billy Dee Williams, returns to the cinema after 1983’s ‘Return of the Jedi’.
Since appearing in ‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’ in 1980, Lando’s iconic mustache has become a fundamental part of his style and character, so much so that in the prequel ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ (2018) the actor Donald Glover sports it too.
“Inglorious Bastards”
In this 2009 film directed by Quentin Tarantino, Brad Pitt is First Lieutenant Aldo Raine. The mustache he wears makes his personality stand out as a leader in his mission to hunt down the Nazis.
His facial hair is thin but enough to give his character a distinct look and make him stand out from other roles Brad Pitt has had in his career.

‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Gary Oldman plays Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films, an old friend of Harry’s parents who is wrongly imprisoned in Azkaban prison for the deaths of James and Lily Potter.
After his escape, he has a large bushy mustache and a beard that is much shorter in the chin area. His appearance makes him seem mature and wise, which fits the character as he becomes Harry’s godfather.
