The works of the new stadium should start in January 2026 and should be completed in 40 months. The project also includes an enlarged arena.
The Portuguese presented the renewal and modernization project of the Canindé Stadium at a meeting on Tuesday, which brought together members of the deliberative council and Pic Football Society (SAF) that commands the Club Management.
Due to the lack of the number of necessary people, the meeting was not official. However, the presentations and details of the shares were kept in a mutual agreement between the members of the Club and Saff.
The main project presented was the renewal of the Canindé Stadium. The work is expected to start the work in January 2026, the plan provides that the place will have a capacity in the stands of 46,500 people, 4,685 cabins and an enlarged arena to receive 84,500 people for shows and events.
The club’s intention is that the works will be completed within 40 months from the beginning of next year.

Other projects were also presented to consultants during the meeting, such as the CT reform of the club in the ecological park, the transfer of the SAF headquarters on the site and the payment of the club’s debts gradually.
The Portuguese managed to remain in the elite of the Paulist championship, but was eliminated in the second Serie D phase of the Brazilian championship.
