Less people, more results: since SMEs multiply productivity with AI

Summary

SMEs are using artificial intelligence to increase productivity and competitiveness, reducing costs and re -elaborations through strategic solutions applied to key areas such as sales, support and logistics.

Small and medium -sized SMEs, responsible for taking 80% of the work in the country, according to Sebrae, often deal with the challenge of growing without increasing operating costs. In this scenario, the need to generate more results with fewer resources has become a constant, especially in periods of high competitiveness and narrow margins. Therefore, artificial intelligence (AI) has distinguished itself as an economic and effective solution to multiply productivity without necessarily increasing the number of employees.

According to a recent IBM study, 78% of companies plan to expand investments in IA by 2025, representing the gaze to the instrument as a strategy in companies of various sizes and sizes. In this sense, the IA can be seen as the engine of a ship: powerful and able to quickly bring the boat to the desired destination. However, the direction, the choice of the path and the definition of destination remain the responsibility of the corporate leaders. It is precisely in this strategic combination that small businesses are finding significant opportunities.

Companies that distribute simple artificial intelligence solutions, such as basic sales, customer support or financial management, can often reduce up to 30% reworking, gaining time to focus on what really generates value: new activities, loyalities to customers and innovation. Practical examples strengthen this reality.

A small logistics company, which previously needed manual management of paths and deliveries, when implementing a significantly reduced artificial intelligence solution and optimized use of vehicles, generating an increase in direct economy and revenue.

Another company, in the sales sector, has been able to automatically reactivate inactive customers through an intelligent system that identifies the purchase models and sends personalized messages automatically and regularly. Result: growth of 20% of sales in just three months.

The secret of these small revolutions is starting with clear problems and well -defined objectives. It is not a question of acquiring FAD technology, but of identifying exactly where there are the greatest operational pain and inefficiencies and use the IA as a tool to eliminate them.

Therefore, the assertive use of artificial intelligence is a real opportunity for small companies to multiply the results, significantly increasing one’s competitiveness without having to multiply their team proportionally. After all, productivity and the result are not synonyms for more people, but better tools and strategies.
