To focus on the month
It is crazy that it has been seven years since I have been calling my hearts for seven years now! Noted 4.2/5, this film has become a real classic for both the author’s lovers and romantic film lovers. Directed by Luke Waddhinino, he was found in Northern Italy in 1983, where the passion of Elio (incredible Timothy) and Oliver (Army Hammer) develops under the burnt sun.
What makes me special about your name is the seizure of his unmistakable, appearance, first love of magic. We feel every hesitation, every gesture, as if we were reluctant. The Chaleti, with its fair performance, perfectly reflects the intensity of adolescence. Guadagnino’s staging is simply exciting, it has been engraved in our memories for a long time, and the soundtrack, with its shiny melodies, is perfectly accompanied by this frustrated love.
Waddino adapted to Andre Aziman’s novel with a real delicacy and avoided footage to study the topics that everyone is watching. He made the film a real concern over authenticity and universality. Although we are waiting for an extension that can bring Oliver (but without the army of Hammer?), Call me by name, remains an essential work, marked by its beauty and its accuracy. Who would believe that the Italian summer could be celebrated at this point?
